What’s better than
wine, chocolate and stories? Having the combination benefit both
participants and new partnerships in the
performing arts. This event will be held at TV-16 on the evening
of May 27th. Attendees will enjoy sampling estate wines from
Frontenac Point Vineyard and Winery (frontenacpoint.com)
of Trumansburg, NY and indulging in assorted cheeses and chocolate
covered fruit.
Best of all, you’ll be able to hear stories of decadence
by Joe Doolittle, Kate Dudding and others from Story Circle at
Proctors – the
first resident storytelling company in a US performing arts
center. (storycircleatproctors.org).
Reservations will be $25/person; $45
couple.
Story Circle at Proctors
will also be producing a monthly program airing soon on Channel
16, titled “Story by Story: Sharing
the Human Experience.” This series will feature stories and
storytellers from the region, mini-workshops on storytelling
techniques, upcoming events and current commentary on storytelling
and the arts.
